Two things for GunZ: The Duel,
in one small program.
A blocker that keeps known cheaters from reaching you, and a
damage overlay that shows what you are actually doing in a fight.
One file. Save it wherever you like and run it — there is
nothing to unzip and nothing to install.

Cheater blocker
Some players are on a reviewed list. When one of them turns up in your
game, the blocker stops their traffic reaching you, so what they do
stops happening on your screen.
A player on the reviewed list, blocked. They are still in the
match — they simply stop affecting yours.
- It can only block players who are on that list.
There is no way to type in a name and no way to point it at somebody
you dislike.
- The list is signed. A copy that has been altered is refused.
- It updates itself every few seconds, so a new block reaches you
without doing anything.
- Nothing outlives the program. Close it and everything is exactly as
it was.

Damage overlay
Your damage, on screen, while you play — the number for each hit,
a running total per opponent, and what your teammates are contributing.
Numbers as they appear while you fight. The colour follows the
damage, so a glance tells you roughly how much of it landed.
- Three styles: a number per hit, one running total per player, or
both together with a small column of recent hits.
- Colours follow the damage. The default is built around the
shotgun, so the colour of a number tells you roughly how much of it
landed.
- F6 changes style, F7 shows the team list.
The program shows you an id for your computer.
Send it over and you get a key back for that machine. The blocker above
works whether or not you ever do.

You decide how it looks
The overlay has a settings editor built into the program. It opens on a
picture of your own game, and you drag the panels to where you want them
— what you see while you are editing is where they land in a match.
Sizes, colours, fonts, how long numbers stay, how see-through the whole
thing is, and how much a big hit stands out are all yours to set. Positions
are stored against your resolution and scale to whatever screen you play
on, so the same settings follow you between monitors. You can copy your
whole setup into a short line of text and send it to a friend.
Everything is off or plain until you turn it on. The
louder options exist because some people want them, not because they are
the default.
It does not touch the game
Nothing is added to, patched, injected into or changed in GunZ.
Not the executable, not the game files, not its memory while it runs. The
game is left exactly as it was installed, and it neither knows nor needs to
know this program exists.
The overlay is a separate window that sits on top and draws numbers. It
does not click, aim, move, or do anything on your behalf — it shows
you what already happened. Nothing in here plays the game for you.
The blocker works entirely on your own computer, deciding what reaches you.
It changes nothing on the server and nothing for anybody else in the match.
A player you block is still in the game; they simply stop affecting yours.
Close the program and every trace of it is gone.
Seen someone cheating?
Send a replay-based report. The replay never leaves your computer —
your browser reads it locally and sends only the player names from that
match and the one you picked out.
Reports are read by a person. Naming somebody does not block them; it asks
for them to be looked at.
